Beyoncé made history at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards being the first African American woman to win an award for best country album for  “Cowboy Carter”.

After Queen B got over the initial shock of hearing her name being called, she accepted her award which was presented by the Los Angeles County Firefighters. Beyoncé dedicated the award to Linda Martell, the first black woman to play the Grand Ole Opry.

Despite being shunned from the Country Music Association awards last year, Beyoncé has not allowed that to slow her down nor discourage her from pushing forward and opening doors.
