Vice President Kamala Harris has selected Beyoncé’s “Freedom,” as her campaign song. Clearance was quickly granted to use the anthem just hours before making her announcement to run for President. Harris made the decision to run for office after President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 Presidential Race.
Harris was able to obtain record turn-around approval to use the track from the normally strict clearance policies. The VP and Grammy winning mega star have maintained a close relationship since Harris has been in office. Harris attended Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour in 2023. Many are speculating with this gesture Queen Bey is on board with the democratic nominee.
