Ladies, Usher is no longer a single man! Sources have confirmed that the “Let It Burn” singer tied the knot after delivering a star studded Superbowl halftime performance.
Usher 45, and his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea 40, said “I Do” at Vegas Weddings venue on Superbowl Sunday. According to the marriage license obtained by TMZ, Usher’s mother Jonetta Patton served as witness for the couple.
The wedding was not publicly announced so that the couple could enjoy their magical moment with family and close friends, without huge crowds trying to sneak a peek or snap a pic.
The president of Vegas Weddings, Melody Willis-Williams, gave a statement to PEOPLE, “Congratulations to the Newlyweds! What a great game and Usher’s performance was phenomenal! We were beyond thrilled to host in this epic day for Usher and his new wife. As much as we love, love, this is the couple’s news to share any further details on. We’ll always be fans of Usher! Yeah!”
This is Usher’s third marriage. He previously married Tamika Foster in 2007 and shares two sons with her. They divorced in 2009 after two years of marriage. In 2018, Usher married his former manager Grace Miguel and their marriage came to an end after three years. Hopefully, the third time is a charm for Usher and Goicoechea, they share a daughter and son together.
February 11, 2024 will always be a day to remember for Usher. It is the day he delivered a flawless performance on one of the biggest stages in sports and entertainment, which drew record breaking viewership. It is also the day he married his best friend. We wish the Raymond’s the best.
