Kami Grayson (KG): Hello, everyone! This is Kami Grayson, and I’m delighted to be here at the Fleet DJ’s 12th Annual Music Conference with the talented music artist, Malik Cruz. How are you doing tonight, Malik?
Malik Cruz (MC): Well, well, well, Kami! I’m feeling great, thank you. It’s a pleasure to be here and share my experiences with you.
KG: We’re thrilled to have you here, Malik. Can you tell us about your connection to the Fleet DJs Music Conference and what keeps bringing you back for the third time?
MC: Absolutely, Kami! The Fleet DJs Music conference is an incredible networking event for music enthusiasts like myself. It’s my third time attending, and each year, I meet amazing people who share the same passion for music. As a music producer and DJ, this event allows me to showcase my work, collaborate with others, and promote my independence as an artist.
KG: That sounds like a fantastic platform for artists like yourself. Could you share with our audience a bit about your love for creating music and what drives you as an artist?
MC: Music is my true love, Kami. I have a deep connection to it, and it’s a part of who I am. The energy at this event, surrounded by fellow music creators, just fuels my passion even more. I enjoy the process of creating and producing music, and it brings me immense joy to share it with the world. Music has the power to inspire and make a positive impact, and that’s what keeps me going.
KG: It’s evident that your passion shines through your work, Malik. Can you give us some insight into your current projects and what your fans can look forward to?
MC: Of course! I’m super excited about my latest project. I’ve collaborated with Saga and Uncanny Sega to create a new single, and the best part is that it features my 15-year-old daughter singing on the hook. It’s a heartwarming experience to work with her, and we’re also putting together a music video for the track. Aside from that, I have a lot more music in the pipeline, and there’s something scheduled for release in August.
KG: That sounds like an amazing project, and it’s wonderful to hear about your collaboration with your daughter. Where can our readers and viewers find your work and stay updated with your musical journey?
