R&B group Blackstreet was formed in 1991 by Teddy Riley, a prominent producer and songwriter in the R&B and hip-hop genres. The original members of Blackstreet were Teddy Riley, Chauncey Hannibal, Levi Little, and Joseph Stonestreet.
Blackstreet gained widespread recognition with their second album, “Another Level,” released in 1996. They topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group.
Following the success of “Another Level,” Blackstreet released several more albums, including “Finally” in 1999 and “Level II” in 2003. While Blackstreet’s prominence peaked in the 1990s, their music continues to be appreciated and enjoyed by fans around the world with their unique sound and memorable hits.
